Finalist Announcement — Southern Ocean Art Prize 2025
I’m honoured to share that my work has been included as a finalist in the Southern Ocean Art Prize (SOAP) 2025, held in the beautiful coastal town of Robe, South Australia.
This biennial art prize celebrates artists whose work responds to the natural environment — a theme close to my heart. My artwork, a collection of sea urchin sculptures, Beneath the Spines, 2025 will be on display as part of the Finalists Exhibition at the Robe Institute, from Saturday 1 November to Sunday 9 November 2025, with the official opening on Friday 31 October.
Following the main exhibition, selected works will continue to be showcased at the Karatta Wine Room & Gallery from 11–30 November 2025, allowing visitors to linger a little longer with the art and landscape that inspired it.
If you’re travelling through South Australia’s Limestone Coast this spring, I’d love for you to visit the show and experience this stunning celebration of creativity, ocean, and place.
